Some time ago, Rye Crofter received notification from the Master Cultist of the nefarious zombie-creating Nous Qui Signent Dans Une Voix Du Feu that he would die in 30 days. After returning to JREZHS H.Q, Rye told us the curious tale and then set out to try to prevent his imminent demise. 23 days later, Rye has yet to uncover how exactly he is going to die or how he can stop it before his time is up.
After receiving an eerie telephone call reminding him of his upcoming death, he spent the first two weeks working on deciphering a mysterious and horrifying VHS tape he discovered in an old cabin, only to realize that it was just someone’s hopeless attempt at making a home movie and had nothing to do with his death-curse at all. Shaking his head in frustration, he hopped the nearest plane to Nepal and journeyed deep into the mountains in search of Tonic Clonic: The Grand Mal, guru extraordinaire. Unfortunately the Grand Mal was psychically attached to a classic Pac Man arcade consol in hopes of learning what’s beyond the kill screen, and was unable to help Rye. Rye has spent his remaining time in Paris, hoping to find some sort of clue that will lead him to Nous Qui Signent Dans Une Voix Du and the Master Cultist. Already he can feel his heart beat growing steadily softer, his muscles weakening, and his thoughts slowing. He presses onward on his impossible quest.

Will Rye die? Or will he beat Death to death with a lead pipe? Only time will tell.
